Bicycle rental agreement
This User Agreement is signed by the customer (hereinafter referred to as the "User").) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Omi Biwaichi Rental Cycle K-velo (Konishi Shoten Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "our company").)) bicycle rentals, which stipulate the matters that must be observed when using the bicycles.Please agree to the following before enjoying your short trip on a rental bicycle.
1. Application for use
The vehicle is available to elementary school students and older (height 129cm or more, load capacity 110kg or less), and reservations can be made by contacting our company.Please come during business hours and fill out the required information on the application form.At that time, you will be asked to present proof of identity.Rental hours are from 6:00 to 19:00.
*Your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than our bicycle rental business and Boonie Co., Ltd.'s Business Hotel Shell business.
*Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
*Those under 18 years of age require parental consent.
2. Usage fees and usage hours
The usage fee must be paid in advance.If you wish to exceed the usage time, please be sure to call us.If you return the bike after the rental time, an extension fee of 500 yen will be charged for every 30 minutes.Even if you request cancellation due to weather or other reasons on your part, we will not refund any fees you have paid.
3. Bicycle Delivery
When picking up your bicycle, please receive an instruction from an attendant and check and confirm with the attendant the brakes, handlebars, bell, tire pressure, and saddle position.When you start using the bicycle, you are deemed to have agreed that there are no problems with the bicycle.Also, be sure to wear a helmet.
4. Returning the bicycle
Please return the equipment to our company or Business Hotel Shell within the business hours specified when you applied for use.If you need to return the bicycle midway due to unavoidable circumstances such as health issues, please return it by locking it in the bicycle parking lot at the nearest station.If you return the bicycle to the nearest station's parking lot, an additional fee will be charged depending on the area, and the user will be required to pay the additional fee set by our company using the method specified by our company.
5. Accident
If a user is involved in an accident during use, the user must immediately take measures prescribed by law, such as reporting the incident to the police, and must also report the date, time, location, cause, and circumstances of the accident to the Company.After renting a bicycle, the user is solely responsible for operating the bicycle, complying with traffic laws, wearing safety equipment (helmets, etc.), and taking other safety precautions.We shall not be held responsible for any accidents caused by reasons attributable to the user.If you need to settle the accident, please do so at your own risk.
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if the Company suffers damage, including if the Company is forced to pay compensation to a third party, the Company may claim compensation for such damage from the User.In addition, we will not be held responsible for any damages such as theft of baggage.
6. Bicycle breakdown
If your bicycle breaks down while you are using it, please contact us.Any damage to the bicycle caused by the user will be repaired at the user's expense.If the user repairs the bicycle themselves without prior consent, the repair costs will also be borne by the customer.
